This policy explains what personal data we collect through monsterunit.eu, why we collect it and what rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

1. Controller

The controller of your personal data is Monster Unit, [registered address — TBC], European Union (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@monsterunit.eu.

2. Data we collect

The only place on this site where you give us personal data is the contact form. When you submit it we receive:

  • your name and, optionally, company;
  • your email address and, optionally, phone or messenger contact;
  • the request type and the project details you write;
  • your consent to this policy;
  • technical data attached to the submission: IP address, browser user agent, page language, the page URL you sent the form from and the time of submission.

Browsing the site without using the form does not send us any personal data beyond the standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.

3. Purpose

We use this data to answer your request, prepare a quote or proposal, and communicate with you about a potential or ongoing project. Technical data is used to protect the form against abuse (spam, automated submissions) and to keep a record of when and from where the request was made.

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing a contract with you.
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in securing the form, preventing abuse and keeping business correspondence.

Providing the data is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond to your request.

5. Retention

We keep contact requests for as long as necessary to handle them and for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless a contract is concluded — in that case we keep the correspondence for the duration of the contract and for the period required by accounting and limitation rules.

6. Recipients and processors

We do not sell or share your data for marketing. It is processed on our behalf by:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting of the website and execution of the function that receives the form; Cloudflare also sees the IP address of every visitor for security purposes.
  • Resend, Inc. — email delivery service that transmits your request to our inbox and sends you an automatic confirmation.

Both providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. Analytics and cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics. If we introduce cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics in the future, we will update this policy; such analytics would not identify you personally.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data rectified;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your EU member state.
